I have been interested in fine arts since I was 4 years old. Growing up my Mom let me paint and draw and I spent most of my younger years copying pictures, comics, drawings and replicating. I come from a family of artists on both my Mom and Dad's side, so there was something to always look at and study. There isn't one person in my family who isn't interested in some sort of art and creating art.
When I went to college I majored in fine arts and then went on to get my master's in education, leaving art as a part time activity. It wasn't until recently that I really started to get into using mixed media, mineral paints, epoxy/resin, and oils. I previously worked with pastels, acrylics, sculpting, and watercolors but mostly briefly, Photography has always been a huge part of my life and still is. I also really enjoy interior design, decorating, and gardening. I have a love for all art and find it everywhere but have always favored Renaissance, Impressionism, and Abstract.
When I create my art, I find different things within it, and that's what I enjoy about creating it and looking at it. I hope you will too!
